Posted February 07, 2018 10:06:14By Tom HickeyThe Philadelphia Eagles owner and team captain have reportedly gone to bed at the same time, and the owner and captain have allegedly been fighting to wake them up.

It has been a rough night for the Eagles, as McNair’s relationship with Jones has deteriorated to the point where he’s now trying to persuade him to retire from the sport.

According to TMZ Sports, McNair called Jones and told him that he was going to have to do what he had to do to save the franchise.

Jones then left his office to go get ready to work, and they then fought over the phone.

Jones, however, didn’t take the call well, saying, “I’ve never been with a guy like Jerry Jones in my life.

We’re just gonna have to find a way to get past this.”

The Eagles owner has been in a relationship with the team’s head coach for two decades, and he has been close with McNair for more than a decade.

According to ESPN, he has known Jones since before McNair took over as the head coach in 1996.
